Grandma Reva's 75th birthday

We went to Leslie's hometown of Monroe City, Mo., for the weekend to celebrate her Grandma Reva's 75th birthday. It also was the first time her Grandma and Grandpa got to meet Landon.

(Leslie's dad took this picture.)

It happened to be Jack's turn to bring home his "class mascot," Shrek, for the weekend. Their homework is to take pictures of their activities with him and then tell the class about them on Monday.

Our nephew Sam.

His sister — our niece, Kenedee.

Jack loves running around with the big kids. Here he's with Dalton and Hayden.

No one can remember the last time we were all together. There's Grandpa Bernard and Grandma Reva, their four children and each of their spouses, five grandchildren and their significant others, and seven great-grandchildren.

Aunt Mechele and Uncle Greg.

After eating dinner and taking pictures, it was time to go fishing! Since Papa and Nana feed the fish in their pond regularly, five seconds after Jack's line was in the water — he'd caught a fish! And then six more after that; it's perfect for kids.

Kenedee's such a doll.
