Chivalry

Recently, in the car on the way to school in the morning, Jackson piped up and said, “Fairs go first and squares go second.” I didn't understand what he meant, so he repeated, “Fairs go first and squares go second.” I had to apologize because I didn’t know what he was saying.

He explained that it was like the Nebraska fight song ("There Is No Place Like Nebraska"), “Where the girls are the fairest, the boys are the squarest ...” — that “fairs” go first and “squares” go second!
