Even before moving into our new house, we knew we’d have to do something about the master closet. The one row of wire shelving just wouldn’t work. So after googling “Kansas City” and “closet,” and getting a couple of bids — getting ready in the morning will never be the same. Chris Rayfield at Kansas City Closet Company is fantastic; we highly recommend them.
After ordering exactly what we wanted, it took them one day to transform our closet from this ...
To this!
And my favorite thing is the hide-away ironing board. When not in use, it only takes up a couple of inches and is hidden out of view ...
But when down, it’s solid as a rock and is more heavy duty than any ironing board I’ve ever known. Plus, it’s so easy to raise and lower, you can do it with one hand (in fact, just two fingers)!
Our next plans are to change out the drawer pulls for more decorative hardware and maybe even install a new light fixture.
Let us know if you wanna come over for drinks and a tour.
