Landon's first trip around the sun

Resting up for his big day! (Just the night before, Leslie and I had talked about whether Landon was ready to switch from two naps a day to one. So I planned to feed him lunch first, before putting him down. You can see how well that worked.)

Since it was a weekday, we had just a couple close friends over for dinner. But, as it worked out, both of Leslie's parents were able to make it too!

After eggplant parmesan in the dining room, it was time for birthday cake in the kitchen.

Jackson liked the idea of getting cake all over his little brother, more than Landon did.
