“So, did you win?”

That’s the first thing Jack asked me when I got home from the Trolley Run this morning.

I had to break it to him that — with a field of 7,000 other runners — the answer was, “No.”

But it was perfect weather...

...and I later realized that my time of 30:57 (for the four-mile race) was 1:16 faster than the last time I ran it, four years ago!

I was even home, showered and at church by 10 a.m.
